How do I pay my insurance bill?

Call our office at 717.561.0547 or the Nationwide Service Center at 800.798.7783. You can also pay your bill online.

Are insurance premium payment plan options available?

Yes. Nationwide offers quarterly, monthly, and yearly payment plans. Installment service fees are included only in quarterly and monthly plans.

What are some ways I can reduce my insurance premiums?

Take advantage of discounts; Bundle your policies; Meet with your agent at least once per year.

How do I submit an insurance claim?

Who do I call in the event of an accident or event?

Call the Nationwide Claim Center at 800.421.3535.

How do I make a policy change request?

Call the Harner office or your service agent at 717.561.0547.

How long can my child/children remain on my Nationwide auto policy?

Until age 25.

When I submit a claim, will Harner communicate with Nationwide on my behalf?

Absolutely! Please call us if you have any questions about your claim or the process.


Coverage Questions

I lost my proof of insurance documentation. How do I obtain a new copy?

Call our office or print a copy of your card online through your Nationwide online account.

What should I do about car insurance after I pay off the loan?

Call us and we’ll work to remove the lien from your policy.

Does Harner Insurance offer pet insurance coverage?

No, but we often refer our customers to Nationwide’s Pet Insurance Program.

Business insurance in PA — What types of coverages are required?

All businesses in PA are required to have a general liability policy. If your business has employees, a workers’ compensation policy is also required.

What is an “On Your Side” insurance review? Can it be done over the phone?

An “On Your Side” review is a detailed review of your active insurance policies. This review can be done over the phone if needed but we recommend meeting with us in person at our office.

How often should I review my insurance coverage?

At least once per year with your Harner Insurance agent.
